Alex Guldbeck — Transformational Hypnotherapist & NLP Coach

I’m a hypnotherapist and NLP coach specializing in identity-level change, deep internal realignment, and decisive life transitions.

I trained in clinical hypnotherapy at Lightwork Seminars in Northern California under Janis Ericson, and completed over 140 hours of advanced NLP and coaching work through the Academy of Coaching and NLP. I’m certified by both the National Guild of Hypnotists and the Society for Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and hold a B.A. from Oberlin College.

My work is grounded in a simple observation: most people are not broken — they are misaligned. The patterns that hold people back are rarely about willpower or discipline. They’re the result of being locked into non-resourceful internal states — stress, fear, obligation, identity confusion — long after those states stopped being useful.

Hypnosis, when used properly, allows us to bypass surface struggle and access the internal resources, meaning, and direction already present in the unconscious mind. Often, a single well-structured session is enough to catalyze a shift that would otherwise take years of effort.

In addition to Western hypnotherapy and NLP, I’ve spent many years studying traditional ritual, trance, and healing frameworks, with a particular focus on Southeast Asian folk magic and African Traditional healing systems. These traditions inform my work at the level of symbol, trance, and transformation — not belief or dogma.

This cross-cultural foundation has shaped my particular interest in existential and identity-level issues, including:

  • Life direction and purpose

  • Creative blocks

  • Boundary collapse and people-pleasing

  • Stress as a signal of misalignment rather than pathology

My approach is not script-based, symptom-focused, or open-ended therapy. It is designed for people who feel called to a deeper internal shift — and are ready to step into it. I’m based in Miami Beach and work with clients both in person and online.
